Former Scotland and Forfarshire wicket keeper and Batsman, Alec Steele, will relate tales of his amazing 70+ year career in first class cricket, despite latterly suffering from an interstitial lung disease.  He has been awarded an MBE for his services to cricket.

A Fun Quiz will be held at the last meeting of the calendar year to celebrate Christmas and enjoy great fellowship before the festive break.  All very welcome.

One of the country’s leading astronomers and astrophotographers, Ken Kennedy, will explain the best things to look out for in the sky at this time and help us understand our place in the universe.
